Additional information

 

The unit
offers a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic benign HPB surgery. This includes:

 

  • Laparoscopic CBD exploration (60 per
    year)
  • Laparoscopic pancreatic necrosectomy
    and pancreatic drainage procedure (25 per year)
  • Laparoscopic benign biliary (lap hep
    jej/ lap choledochoduodenostomy) (5 per year)
  • Laparoscopic hernia surgery
  • Laparoscopic fundoplication (15 per
    year)
  • ERCP – Mr I.Bhatti is a JAG accredited
    trainer for ERCP (400 procedures performed per year)
  • Robotic Surgery is being introduced
    for laparoscopic benign HPB surgery
